UhMazing food & service! Referred to come here. We flew in from NorCali to celebrate our son's 21 birthday. The atmosphere, food, drinks and service were top-notch. We did the family style package so we got to taste more selections - well worth it. PS the lamb chops and apricot pizza were our favorites. The wine yum and the lemon drop was a surprising yummy... we will be back and we will recommend for any Vegas traveler ! Get u some

While visiting Vegas, we wanted off the strip and some real local food - and we hit the proverbial "jackpot" with Monzu! If you want authentic Sicilian food with excellent service, great atmosphere, and probably the best sourdough bread we've ever had, then travel a few minutes off the strip and try this place. It is set back in a strip mall with a small sign at the street. We had an excellent server, Mateus, who went through the menu and gave us his best recs in all categories. This was greatly appreciated! Everyone from Gabriel, who seated us to the food runners were on their A game. Our water glasses were never less than 1/2 full before being refilled. Any questions we had on menu were well answered and service was spot on. The food was excellent. First- that bread. 300 yr old sourdough starter. We had 3 servings of the bread that comes with olive oil and ricotta with black pepper for dipping. You can also purchase a loaf to take home. Pizzas use the same bread as the crust. Perfectly cooked crust that looks wood fired though not sure it was. The toppings and sauce were plentiful and tasty. We also had the tagliatelle PPF. Homemade pasta in a rich cream sauce with mushrooms and Italian ham. Delicious! I wish we lived closer, but if we come back to Vegas, will definitely visit again!

It absolutely kills me to make this review, but after many lovely meals at Monzú, I have noticed a decline. Before I get into that though, I must say the good, the food is still delicious and well made. The live music was very nice too and the older gentleman that seemed to take care of everything was the heart and soul of the place. The needs to be improved on... service was terrible. I feel like we got a waiter that has never been to a restaurant before. He couldn't answer basic questions about drinks, and when we were served, the glasses were sticky. Once the entrees came, we didn't see him again for nearly an hr, despite wanting to order dessert and apéritifs. When he came, we just got the cookie plate and some coffee because we didn't want to stay too much longer. They don't have Lavazza coffee, it was some other, lesser tasting coffee and the cookie plate didn't have any Pignoli cookies despite them being regional to Southern Italy, the cookies offered were good and I'm just being picky about this. Huh, after writing it all out, I'm thinking we just had a bad waiter, everything else was still worth going back for. I'll be back, but I will ask for another waiter if I'm in that guys section again.

It has been a long time we had been there. Did a large pizza with a half pork reign and an robbie. The dough is so different than most other pizza places! It is light, airy and very easy to eat. It is flavorful, and the meats on the pizza are top notch. Bartender was taking care of us and made my wife an espresso drink she really loved. Smooth, no bitterness, using fresh made espresso.

I ate here a few months ago and could not wait until I visited Vegas to eat here again. This review is based on both of my visits. - you start off with sourdough bread. The sourdough is from a 355-year-old starter. it is served with ricotta cheese, olive oil, and black pepper. It is unbelievably addictive. - My favorite meal is Vegas meets Italy. It is a flatbread pizza with ricotta, date, and pistachio cream and just tons of other goodness. - both of my servers were well informed, attentive, with great recommendations -is this meal Amazing? Yes. Are there meth heads in the parking lot? Also, yes. Does it matter? Absolutely not. When you walk through those doors, you walk into a wonderful place of old Italy.

Was recommended here by a friend and it is honestly such a gem! The restaurant is very nice and intimate, perfect for a date night or nice dinner. Would recommend making a reservation, it does seem the restaurant can fill up. I highly recommend doing their chefs tasting menu. It allows you to try so many different dishes this place can offer at great price. We did the Primi & Secondi , which was a lot of food. Didn't really look at the menu, but trust the servers. They are all knowledgeable about the menu and will accommodate if you have any dietary preferences. Overall the experience was great, the dishes that were given all felt really balanced and went well together as a whole. Starting from the board all the way till dessert.

Yelp Review 2024 #104: I've been to Monzu a few times - mostly because Nora's is fully booked. However, Monzu came in clutch when we had a reservation that turned out to be on the wrong date! The awesome host worked his magic and got us a table for a birthday dinner in under 10 minutes! Crisis averted! I really like their pizza here and I highly suggest you get at least one for the table and try other menu items. But on my most recent visit, I decided to try something else. The bread service is a warm sourdough bread served with ricotta, olive oil and cracked pepper. We got an appetizer, salad, and different entree. Fior di Zucca: 2 Battered and fried squash blossoms stuffed with ricotta, mint, and parmigiano. The mint didn't do much for me. I wish it wasn't there. 2/5 Insalata di Cavolo Nero: Tuscan kale, pomegranate arils, blood orange, walnuts m, and Manodori balsamic vinaigrette. Crunchy and refreshing. Great for vegetarians. 4/5 Crespelle al forno: Layers of house-made crepes, meat sauce, béchamel, and peas. Like lasagna but a bit different because of the soft crepe and peas. It's a small portion so you can easily finish this. 4/5 Pizza: You can't go wrong with their pepperoni pizza, margherita, and mortadella. 5/5 They have a live band on weekend dinners. They have a semi-private room, main dining area, and a bar. Service is quite good.

I had a great time last night at Monzú. We had a group of 11 so they offered a special room. It was surprisingly very well insulated so we could hear everyone in the room. We had our own air conditioner and the room was decorated with wine. The chairs were large velvety and so comfortable. The service was great. The waiter was very knowledgeable. He explained the bread with the 300 year old starter then explained the menu and a couple of recommendations per section. It was in Italian so it was a little confusing. They constantly came in to check on us and refill our water. The food took a while to come out but it did all come out at the same time. We were there for a special event and they let us bring our own cake. The servers took the cake and cut it up for us and served it without any additional charge. Another plus is that the waiter was able to give us individual checks and all we had to do was scan it and pay on our phone. I was impressed since I've never seen this before. The only negative is that it's close to the strip in a sketchy area. There were a couple of large box trucks in the parking lot blocking visibility and a couple of homeless people walking around. The waiter told us that they have live music on the weekends but reservations are highly recommended since it gets really busy.
